Create a Kinder and Happier World Together
Today is International Day of Happiness – a day to create a happier and kinder world together.
International Day of Happiness was established by the United Nations in 2012 to help people around the world understand and realize the importance of happiness in their lives.
Interestingly, the theme for this year’s International Day of Happiness is:
Be Mindful. Be Grateful. Be Kind.
I say interesting, as these are three critical components of a Humony Mindset. Humony is a word I created combining Human, Humanity, and Harmony to reflect our need to build and live lives of connection, wellbeing, and harmony.
What will you do to be happy today? What will you do to bring happiness to others today?
How will you connect with someone else? How will you show kindness to other human beings? How will you exhibit gratitude and encourage others to do so?
So do what makes you happy and take time today to reflect on your feelings of joyfulness, contentment, and enjoyment in your life. But also, be sure to spread happiness to others throughout the day.
For you will receive more joy, pleasures, and happiness in return.
Gold Medal Award
Humony Leadership received a Gold Medal recognition from the Nonfiction Authors Association. The NFAA called the book, “thorough and inclusive. To say that Humony Leadership is timely is an understatement. The content is valuable, necessary and, if implemented, would go a long way towards recovery from havoc wreaked upon the world in very recent times.”
They went on to add, “Humony Leadership is a significant work with an important mission.”
The book has also received a Bronze Medal in the Business/Leadership category of the 2023 Reader Views Literary Awards. And late last year, Humony Leadership was voted the 8th Best Indie Book of 2022 by the readers at ReadFreely.com.
