There Is No Excuse In Allowing Dementia To Increase By 60% In The Next Decade

The main purpose of my new book Better Decisions Better Thinking Better Outcomes is to help everyone move from operating in a mind full mode, a kind of autopilot state where you are highly subjected to emotional hijackings and poor decision making, to living and making decisions as a more mindful leader and person.

In the previous post on how stress and our overloaded brains cause conflict and drama at work, I shared with you that one of the other purposes that drove me to write Better Decisions Better Thinking Better Outcomes is a desire to help leaders create organizations that are less stressful, more engaging, more productive, and that are happier places to work.  Mind Full to Mindful Leadership | Better Decision Making | Better Thinking

Here are some ways you can do so.

Help me cascade the information in this book wide and far so we can collectively reduce those troubling and worrying statistics on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia that project over half of American adults will be afflicted with some level of cognitive decline and illness in their lifetime.

By helping ourselves, and one another, take the proper steps to enhance brain health, we can reduce the financial costs to society — and the brutal emotional costs to families — of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

There is no excuse for allowing a 60% increase in the number of people suffering from dementia. This is preventable, but the right actions need to be taken now — by you, your family members, your work colleagues, and everyone else. I am counting on you to help spread this message. And so are your loved ones, family members, co-workers, and friends.

If you would like to be part of our global information dissemination team, please contact me. We are creating Certified Trainer Programs and Mindful Leaders MasterMind groups to provide on-going support, materials, and tools for those who truly want to apply the information and techniques in this book within their organizations and communities.

In the meantime, please read Better Decisions Better Thinking Better Outcomes over the forthcoming holidays and reflect on the many lessons it has to offer. The techniques described will help you make better decisions and improve your thinking prowess. They will also result in you becoming a less stressed and far healthier person.

And that, I am sure you would agree, are definitely four better outcomes that will definitely benefit you immediately, and for years to come.
